Version 2.0 Release

McClockface 2.0, which is set to be released on Friday, 2 September 2022 at 10:00AM GMT, brings new widget designs and big performance improvements.

The new widgets:

• Simples: A vibrant, bold design, available in small and large widget sizes
• Analog Watch: A traditional watch design with 3D effects, available in small and large widget sizes
• Word Search: Displays the time using a grid of letters, available for the large widget size
• El Clásico: Shows the date and time the classic way on your home screen, available for the medium widget size
• Get Schwifty: A mini coding playground for your home screen, available in medium and large widget sizes

The other stuff:

• Performance improvements for drawing custom designs in older widgets, leading to more efficient widget refreshing
• The “Oh, Clock” widget now has a small widget size option
• The in-app setting for selecting 12 vs 24h formats has been removed and the app now adopts the system setting
• A new minty fresh global tint color
• Haptic feedback on clock flips
• New alternate app icons
• Added Arabic localization
• Added a tip jar
• Bug fixes and improvements
