Lumy updated for iOS 26 & watchOS 26
Lumy Updated with New Liquid Glass Design and Features for iOS 26 & watchOS 26
iOS 26 & iPadOS 26
- Liquid Glass Design: Lumy now embraces Apple’s new Liquid Glass design language. Toolbars, sliders, scroll indicators, and the bottom bar adapt fluidly with touch, making the experience feel more alive and responsive.
- Peak Panel: A lightweight floating element built with Liquid Glass. It quietly shows simple info like “Moon above horizon,” expands fluidly for more details such as “Sets in 20 min,” and dissolves back automatically to keep the interface calm.
- Refreshed Bottom Bar with Quick Access Menu: Redesigned with Liquid Glass, morphing naturally with interaction. Modes can be reordered, with the first three appearing in the Quick Access Menu for faster navigation.
- Season Widget: Now configurable to show either astronomical or meteorological seasons.
- Updated Widgets & App Icons: Full support for iOS 26’s tinted and clear home screen styles.
- App-wide Refinements: Several improvements across the app for a smoother, more polished experience.
Foundation Model Features
- Mode-Specific Weather Insights: Transforms raw weather data into activity-aware guidance. For example, photographers might see “diffused lighting perfect for portraits,” while hikers could get “reduced visibility on trails.”
- State of Mind Suggestions: Personalized guidance that adapts to mood, context, and associations, moving beyond static tips.
- Review System: A built-in feedback loop where users can rate or refine suggestions with thumbs up or down. All processing is private by default and done on-device.
watchOS 26
- Liquid Glass Design: Updated with the new design language for watchOS 26.
- Control Center Support: Quickly enable or disable sun event notifications right from Control Center.
- Configurable Complication: A new Season complication that can show either astronomical or meteorological seasons.
