- A new Alarms section that allows riders to create different types of alarms, including Location Alarms, Next Arrival Alarms, and Line Status Alarms. These new features will help passengers stay on top of their commutes and avoid delays.
- With Location Alarms, riders will be notified when they approach their destination, ensuring they never miss their stop again.
- Next Arrival Alarms will tell travelers the next three arrival times at their stop, making it easier to plan their journey.
- Line Status Alarms will inform commuters of any service alerts that could affect their journey, allowing them to plan accordingly.
- New app themes and icons, giving transit-goers a fresh new look and feel.
- A new clever way of using motion to detect if the user is moving, and switching off GPS when it’s not needed. This will help to save battery life (the engineers behind Momego have tested it with thousands of location alarms at once).
The app is a free download and is available today on the App Store. Momego is committed to providing transit riders with the best possible experience and will continue to innovate and improve its app to meet their needs.
