Amato 2.0 brings Interactive Widgets, updated Interaction Flow, and more

Amato got the biggest update since launching in June 2022. It includes a full widget makeover with interactive widgets, an updated interaction flow, as well as many improvements to the whole look and feel.

New Widgets

Version 2.0 adds a complete transformation to widgets with a new compact style and Lock Screen widgets. The update also adds interactive widgets, so users can directly add a new interaction from their Home Screen.

Updated Interaction Flow

The flow for viewing, adding, editing and deleting interactions has been completely overhauled in the latest version. Amato now also allows users to add notes and set custom dates to interactions.

New Interaction Types

This update brings two new interaction types to users: message and email. Users can choose them when adding a new interaction. Version 2.0 also allows users to directly message or email their contacts from within the app.

Other Improvements

The contact list and details now have a cleaner design. Amato 2.0 also adds a brand new app icon. The update also includes some general bug fixes and minor UI optimizations.

Availability

Amato version 2.0 will be available on the App Store with the release of iOS 17 (September 18).
