Read Aloud Now Sounds Like an Audiobook
Listen to your PDFs in natural, flowing sentences
The latest update of PDF Editor, PDF Book Reader® introduces Narration Style for Read Aloud. Instead of reading line by line, the app now reads documents in whole sentences, like an audiobook.
- Natural pauses after headings, lists and paragraphs
- Words split across two lines are read as one word
- Page numbers and repeated headers and footers are skipped
- Bullets and table-of-contents dot lines are no longer read aloud
Word highlighting, speed control, skip, Lock Screen controls and background listening all work as before. Narration Style is on by default and can be switched off at any time in Reader Settings.
The update also fixes a crash that could happen when turning pages with a swipe in two-page Page Curl view on iPad.
