Gulpo is a hydration tracker built around a simple idea... hydration changes with your day.

The daily total tells you what happened. But it doesn’t tell you whether you’re doing well right now.

Introducing Pace: a new way to understand hydration through time. The waterline shows where you are, while the pace line shows where you could be by now. At a glance, Gulpo helps you see whether you’re on track, ahead, or behind without having to interpret charts or numbers.

Water as the Interface: Instead of another progress ring or chart, Gulpo uses water itself as the main interface. The water level shows progress, logging a drink raises it, and the surface responds to touch and movement. Tilt the iPhone, disturb the water, and watch it settle again. The physics are intentionally tuned to keep the information readable while still making the experience feel delightful.

Adaptive Hydration: Your hydration needs can change with your day. Weather, workouts, different beverages, and details you choose to share through Apple Health can all help shape the goal. Gulpo starts with a baseline, but doesn’t treat it as something sacred.

Natural Logging: People don’t usually think about drinking in exact amounts. It’s more often a few sips, half a glass, a finished bottle, or a coffee. Gulpo understands those ways of thinking, while still giving you precise amounts when you need them. You can also log several drinks together using natural language or use the camera when showing the drink is easier.

Bottle Tracking: If you carry the same bottle through the day, you don’t need to keep calculating millilitres. Tell Gulpo how far through the bottle you are — a quarter, half, three quarters, or finished — and Gulpo handles the rest.

iOS 27: Natural-language logging, Siri, Shortcuts, widgets, notifications, and Live Activities give you different ways to keep up with hydration without always opening the app. Natural-language processing happens on device, keeping Gulpo useful even when the experience doesn’t need a server.

A more physical experience: Onboarding uses the actual Gulpo interface to explain how it works instead of showing a series of tutorial screens. Cards sink into the water with bubbles and gravity, the Health icon joins the water, and the same physical language continues into the rest of the app and Gulpo Reserve.

Gulpo respects accessibility preferences such as Reduce Motion, while keeping the physical character of the interface where possible.
