Apple Vision Pro is incredibly immersive. So immersive, in fact, that it's easy to lose track of time when working in visionOS!
Day Peek helps users stay on top of their schedule. It displays a clock with upcoming events in a colorful, floating widget that gradually fades in as the event approaches, allowing users to naturally and intuitively stay in touch with whatโs happening next. This makes it easy to see that "something is coming up soon" even if the window is placed on the side in the user's peripheral vision.
A Companion for Apple Calendar & Fantastical
Day Peek seamlessly integrates with the system calendar as a source for upcoming events. There is even a button to quickly show the day in the built-in Calendar app for quickly adding or editing events and a setting allowing users to open Fantastical instead. Day Peek is a companion app with a very specific focus (pun intended) and not a full-blown calendar.
For Productivity Fans
If you like to block certain times for focussed work your calendar, Day Peek will improve that experience significantly. For the current event, it shows a countdown and progress bar on the bottom that fills up so you always see at a glance how long you have left for the current time block!

Future Plans
I've had an idea for an app like as a macOS/iOS/watchOS widget app for a while and decided to spontaneously build it for visionOS first becuase it provides such a clear value there (prevent losing track of time).
That being said, I still plan to bring it to all other Apple platforms (except tvOS for now, I don't think there's calendar sync avilable there ๐ ).
In terms of features itself, I also have a number of ideas such as quickly adding new events from the app itself (maybe even with natural language input?) but I decided to build a true "minimal viable product" first and then iterate from there based on the early user feedback I get so these plans might change over time.
Testflight & Promo Code
For now there's still an active TestFlight that you can join to try the app. If you want to continue using it or test it at a later time, please don't hesitate to reach out to me for a promo code ๐
